FOH Staff

We are looking for an enthusiastic and EXPERIENCED member of staff to join our front of house team on a full and part time basis. We are interested in people of all ages with retail experience.

We create exciting and innovative ice creams and sorbets using only the best quality ingredients and production methods, which we serve from our parlours at Tufnell Park and Kings Cross just off Granary Square.

The right applicant will be a motivated hard worker with excellent interpersonal skills and high standards.

Responsibilities will include:

- Doing what is required to ensure the shop runs smoothly & high standards of hygiene are maintained
- All aspects of customer service.
- Preparing & serving ice cream, drinks and sundaes.

The successful applicant will receive the relevant training to complete all aspects to a high standard.

Qualifications:

- Fluent English.
- Customer service experience in a food setting.
- Level 2 Food & Hygiene certificate.
- Valid work permit/visa for the UK.
- Love of ice cream & a good sense of humour.

Must be willing to work flexible hours, in particular evenings and weekends.

Ice Cream Chef

We are on the hunt for an amazing Retail & Production Supervisor: 

- To set an example to the whole team, being positive, enthusiastic and proactive
- To oversee and take responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the kitchen & parlour, and ensure the highest standards are maintained, and that company goals are met in a timely fashion. 
- To work as part of the Ruby Violet team, motivating and managing kitchen and front of house staff, maintaining standards and ensuring all training procedures and work practices are carried out correctly
- To be dependable, supportive and professional. 
- To be highly organised, resourceful and motivated, with a good work ethic, developed interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent multi tasking. Attention to detail is essential. 
- To monitor and appraise staff results and develop incentives. 
- To ensure that our high standards of food preparation, presentation and customer service are met at all times. 
To continually re-evaluate working practices to ensure maximum efficiency is maintained. 
- You will be able to work some weekends
- You need to be flexible, with a “can do” attitude

Salary: From £20,000 to £28,000 per annum - Dependent on Experience, to be confirmed

We are looking for staff to join the Ruby Violet team and work in our kitchen as an ice cream maker. 
We create exciting and innovative ice creams and sorbets using only the best quality ingredients and production methods which we serve from our Tufnell Park and Kings Cross parlours. 
Applicants do not require experience with Ice Cream but should have previous kitchen experience. 
Qualifications: 
- Fluent English. 
- Level 2 Food & Hygiene certificate (you can get this online). 
- Valid work permit/visa for the UK. 
-Must be willing to work flexible hours, in particular weekends. July-August are our high season, which means we need all hands on deck.
