Welcome back to our Ruby Violet blog… Have you missed us? We’ve been quiet for a long time now but we’re back up and running. Every so often we will be posting about our ingredients, flavours, staff etc. We will be giving you a VIP insight into all things Ruby Violet.
This week we would like to start off our staff appreciation posts by sharing with you our fabulous kitchen assistant Jade...
Q. Where are you from?
A. I’m from Finsbury park, Islington in London. I grew up in Kings Cross, right by our second parlour!
Q. How long have you worked at Ruby Violet?
A. I started working here on the 29th of June in 2018, so I’ve been here for almost 9 months now.
Q. What is your job role?
A. I started working as a kitchen porter but now I’m working as a kitchen assistant, assisting the head chef to create all our ice creams and sorbets as well as other items like cakes and gelollies.
Q. What’s your favourite aspect of the job?
A. I love churning the ice creams and making unusual flavours.
Q. What’s your favourite flavour?
A. I’m a chocolate monster, I love anything chocolate. When I started working at Ruby Violet I loved the Belgian Chocolate, I do now also love the Tiramisu.
Q. If you could go on holiday today where would you go?
A. The Maldives, it’s absolutely beautiful, peaceful and heaven in the middle of nowhere.
Q. If you had a superpower what would it be?
A. I’d like to be invisible so I could spy on people!
Q. If you were an ice cream which flavour would you be and why?
A. I would be the Belgian Chocolate because everyone loves chocolate.
Q. What’s your favourite Ruby Violet creation?
A. I love the biscuits and ice cream sandwiches.
Q. What’s your favourite thing to make at home?
A. I enjoy making steak with chips, mushrooms and tomatoes.
